You don’t need to be too worried about the aforementioned shipping delays or low stock of products while shopping at Walmart. The major retailer is already taking action to ensure things run smoothly over the holidays, including adding storage capacity to its fulfillment facilities and hiring more drivers.

“The team has worked hard to prepare for another outstanding holiday season, and no matter how or where our customers choose to shop – from the shelf in a store, ordering online and picking it up curbside or having it delivered to their front door – they can depend on us for a safe and convenient shopping experience,” said Scott McCall, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Walmart U.S. in the press release.

Early Black Friday deals

Can’t wait until November to score some savings? Walmart gets it. That’s why at 8:15 p.m. ET on Oct. 18, it’s kicking off an Early Black Friday Deals sale. A couple notable items include:

  • Walmart associates are required to wear face coverings. The retailer encourages all customers to wear face coverings as well, no matter their vaccine status.
